General overview of SMRI training
SMRI brings experts from all facets of project design, implementation, technology, accounting, commissioning and contracting
to help owners and project stakeholders establish a solid foothold in managing energy efficiency projects, LEED projects, property management
and sustainability management.
Classmates work through real projects with subject matter experts to gain a thorough understanding of how to practice and utilize these
tools on site in their jobs. Each project is benchmarked, measured and verified and is reviewed by the classmates on a quarterly basis to
evaluate the success, pitfalls, challenges and areas for improvements available. The intent of the class is to provide the student with real
world working tools that the student can bring back to his/her employer to share with their respective colleagues. The global share of tracking
each project is to provide students with ongoing needs and solutions opportunity assessments, and the opportunity to establish ever increasing
best of breed practices for each project nuance.
